ClarinsMen’s Skin Difference

December 20, 2006 at 10:02 pm (Uncategorized)

“Confirming that a man’s beard grows an average of 0.4mm of every day, Clarins created an innovative, dual-phase product offering complete care for a man’s skin and shave zone to build upon the ClarinsMen franchise and capitalize on the “Age of Men”.
The first complete skincare product for men that targets his skin and shave zone by softening whiskers at their base and helping to slow down new growth, so shaving becomes easier day after day. Skin Difference is a comforting fluid with a clean, woodsy scent that promotes an immediate feeling of freshness and comfort, is rich in firming, hydrating and energizing benefits that help counteract visible signs of aging, revive a dull complexion and gently firm and soften skin. ”

from clarinscosmetics.com

This product is great! Not only does it gently exfoliate the skin leaving it soft, it also provides a closer shave in the morning.  After two weeks of use nightly, my beard is thinner, softer and grows back slower. I’m going to try it on other areas, like my neckline etc.

This is a must have product for all men who hate to shave everyday.

Fashion gets fun!! Laid Back Style

December 12, 2006 at 7:21 pm (wants)

One of my new discoveries:

http://www.johnnycupcakes.com/

I stopped into the original store on Newbury Street in Boston, and picked up the Panda shirt. Who can resist a Panda with a cupcake. I have more on my wish list to pick up though.

The store is laid out bakery style with the shirts and other merchandise in bakery display cases, and refridgerator cases. Your purchases are wrapped up and place in cute bakery style boxes to carry out.

My other new discovery is the Rugby line from Ralph Lauren. Stores are few and in more metro areas, and sadly you can’t buy the stuff online yet. I saw several things in the skull and cross bones line that I loved. You can also build your own rugby shirt by picking colors, patches etc and having it tailored to your body.

The sales associates are all very well groomed, and trendy looking. Looks like a fun place to work. Hmmmmm??!!

Another new find, and how do I make perfume?

November 21, 2006 at 1:36 am (wants)

I just came across yet another homemade fragrance company, CB I Hate Perfume

http://www.cbihateperfume.com/CBindex002.html

with companies like this, and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, I need to figure out how to make my own perfumes, and start my own damn business. The prices on this one are a bit more expensive than BPAL, but they offer a custom blended option which is pretty cool. The website is kind of boring, and not very easy to navigate.
